Rare and beautiful mid-century tallboy made of satinwood and beech, with two turned knobs and an elegant stretcher, Turned legs with brass caps. This tallboy opens to reveal a shelf and 4 lucite-fronted curved plywood drawers. Would make a great compact wardrobe in a bedroom.
Manufactured by Vesper a British company supplying Heals retail store in London late 1940s, early 1950s. Part of the Utility CC41 furniture scheme, to include CC41 label to rear and Vesper model range label to back of drawer
