Industrial shelving unit made by Theodore Scherf, Paris.  Would have
been used in a textile factory.   
     
Steel Structure with capitals and feet.  Brass Plates that read   
‘T H SCHERF, 35 RUE D’ABOUKIR, PARIS’ 
 
I believe the shelves may have originally been wood, but have been replaced with metal ones at a later date.   The unit is in one piece with cross bars at the back, the top shelf is racked with steel rods, whilst all the others are solid metal.
A stunning piece of furniture that has been lovingly restored, and would grace any shop interior or industrial style accommodation.
